Introduction to Pre-Operative Venous Mapping -DVD (2010)

Recorded presentation of how to perform various vascular "mapping" procedure in the upper and lower extremities. Pre-operative assessment includes determination of vein suitability for lower arterial bypass and coronary artery bypass procedures (CABG). Pre-operative assessment for venous ablation procedures is discussed, along with venous marking techniques. Additionally, methods to determine radial artery suitability and palmar arch patency prior to radial artery harvest for CABG are presented.

After viewing this video presentation, the participant should be able to:

-Describe the sonographic imaging protocols and diagnostic criteria for venous insufficiency evaluation

-Discuss the treatment options for venous and arterial insufficiency.

-Describe the pre-operative evaluation methods for vein ablation.
